Updo’s. They are tough, aren’t they? So often I hear stories of updo disasters on bridesmaids, or even the bride, on the day of a wedding. And nothing makes you feel worse or sick to your stomach, than hating your hair during a fancy occasion.
So I want to help. If you can style your own hair for an event, it may bring you a sense of calm and control. And help you feel great about the way you look that night.
This style takes a bit of practice. Especially Step 2. But, if you need an alternative method for the Step 2, try pulling that hair into a Double Bun. Or a Knotty Updo. Or try the Wrapped Bun. Be creative. Try new things with it. You may find that you like your own version better than mine.
And if you are going to take the time to do your hair, you may also want to consider adding false lashes! It’s a great way to boost your look without going too heavy with makeup. I’m wearing Winks No. 1, for length + definition.
Winks went on easily and didn’t budge. They come in a great little compact with lash glue and a mirror so you can keep them in a safe place when you aren’t wearing them.
