My hair, in it’s natural state, is limp and lifeless. I need at least one volumizing product to give it a little bounce, and I’m not above layering a few volumizing products onto my wet hair to encourage even bigger and more textured hair!

What can I say, I like big hair.

My go-to combination, for roughly the past year or so, is the following:

volume-
productsvolume-
products

I apply Aquage Uplifting Foam in at my roots. That ends up being about 3-4 partings down each side of my head, and a few partings into and below the crown area. You can watch me do this here.

Then, I’ll either pick up my Kevin Murphy anti.gravity.spray OR the Pureology Instant Levitation Mist and lift my hair in a few sections, spraying all around the underneath parts. I do NOT use both of these products together, I simply grab whichever one I feel like using.

The Kevin Murphy anti.gravity.spray smells just so nice and I love how much volume it gives. I’ve found that I get a bit of frizz on humid days with the Pureology Instant Levitation Mist, so when I spray that in, I avoid the top section of my hair.

Then, I’ll blow dry with a vent brush, flipping my hair from side to side and ultimately finishing it while hanging my head upside down.

I’m left with crazy volume, and using the wet volume spray prior to blow drying, creates a bit of hold without having to use a setting spray.
